Doctor Dolittle’s Circus, written by Hugh Lofting and published in 1924 by Frederick A. Stokes, is set in England sometime between the original story and the later voyages narrated by Stubbins.
Doctor Dolittle lends his rare Pushmi-Pullyu to the circus to raise money. All the animals there love him, so soon he’s running the show! This is the third of eight Doctor Dolittle.
An excellent book with great ideas and creativity. Being kind to animals is the idea.
